The food was very good and everything was hot and fresh. I had breakfast even though it was supper time. Eggs were perfect and so were the sides. Service was fast and my order was correct. I received my meal in a very reasonable amount of time without any issues. The restaurant itself could probably benefit from an update but it was still clean and neat.

First time trying this restaurant by Bush Airport and was pleasantly surprised. Pancakes were good. Bacon was extra crispy like I like it. Servers were nice. Have no complaints other than they didn't have chulula hot sauce

Wow, talk about a hidden gem - this is one of them. First off, OPEN 24 HOURS ! This restaurant was clean, neat and had an exceptional selection of food. The waitresses were friendly. The service was quick. The food was phenomenal. There was nothing greasy about my breakfast- it was cooked to perfection- even the location was easy and convenient to get to. Plenty of parking. Plenty of room inside the restaurant- I was there very early in the morning and so the restaurant wasn't crazy busy ( which I loved ). If I come back to Houston, I'll be eating here. The prices were in line with the type of restaurant it is - sort of a cross between a dennys and an ihop but BETTER !

I was in Houston for a business trip and always looking for those little gem restaurants (not a chain restaurant). I was staying at the Hilton right next to this restaurant and even tho it didn't have very good reviews thought I would give it a shot. Well, first the hostess/server Pamela was excellent. Very cute and bubbly personality too! I asked her for recommendations and she said "everything's good". I went with the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and corn. Let me say, this was one of the best chicken fried steaks I've had! Tender, crispy and not greasy! Gravy was full of flavor too! Huge portions too. I ended up taking 1/2 of it to go with a piece of pecan pie! This place is a gem! I'll be back next time I'm in Houston! I hope Pamela is there too!!!

I never had a bad meal here, excellent food and service. The restaurant is open 24 hours a day so, occasionally, it's Slammed with with customers, but it's well worth the wait I especially enjoyed the spaghetti and meatballs and the meat lovers breakfast breakfast for under $13.

Very very good breakfast. Nice staff, gpod service. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs, and can't wait to have it again.

New to the area for work, I was in search of a breakfast nook that's open 24hrs. This well lit cafe off I45/JFK was just what I needed. Other than the security of having two officers enjoying their respective breakfasts when I entered, Ms Carol was a lil ray of sunshine. After I ordered, I realized I was still 20 minutes from the job, so I had it packed Togo. Ms Carol took the time to make I had everything needed and a coffee Togo. When I was able to sit down to enjoy my breakfast, everything was great. The ribeye was a perfect mid rare, the eggs were poached just right and she added tomato/bacon to my grits as requested.

Last week I ordered the Midwest Benedict with home fries for breakfast and it was very, very good. So yesterday, I decided to pick up something for dinner to go. Based on reviews, I decided to try them for a hamburger and fries. The meal was absolutely delicious. The beef patty appeared to be 1/4 pound and it was not the cheap, no flavor type you get at a fast food place. The bun was toasted and the fresh lettuce, tomato, and onion were the perfect compliment. The fries were also hot and crispy. Much better than the Johnny Rockets on the ship, and less expensive as well. I highly recommend Hot Biscuit as your last meal before your cruise and the first meal upon your return.
